One of the hottest pin in HRC history

Glay Expo 2004 pin

This pin had been sold only from HRC Universal Citywalk Osaka for about a week(July 23 - Aug 1) this year, and this pin was LE 10,000(not 1000 !!).
You might wonder why this pin was sold only for a week, and why HRC Universal Osaka made 10,000 of this. Let me explain about this pin now.
This pin is called as Glay Expo 2004 pin. Glay is one of the most famous Japanese pop group, and in addition, they are recently very popular around Asian countries like China and South Korea.

-In July 31st, 2004, Glay did a huge concert called as Gray Expo 2004 at Universal Studio Osaka, and about 100,000(!!) people attended the event. Can you guess how big the event was ?? To bring 100,000 fans from Osaka, there are some unscheduled train from Osaka to Universal Studio Japan, and many people came from other Asian countries.

-Now let me talk about what HRC did for it. HRC made the special pin for the event, but we could not buy it at the merchandise store. From July 23rd to August 1st, there are 3 kinds of special cocktail called as Glay Cocktail.

It was very simple. You order it, and you get the pin. In fact, it was very easy for HRC collectors to get the pin, because Glay fan was not there before Glay Expo, so I could get the pin very easily.

In addition, HRC Universal has a special dish called as Glay Burger during the days.

As most of you do, I wondered why HRC made 10,000 of this pin, but HRC was correct. Around July 31st, about 100,000 fans came to USJ for the event, and of course, Glay fans knew HRC had special Glay pins then. Glay Fans like to collect anything about Glay. As a result, the pin was sold out!!! 10,000 pins was sold out only for a week.

Let me explain about one more thing. You can find the number 80215 on the neck of it. There is one of the most famous FM station in Osaka that is FM 802, and they were 15th anniversary then, so HRC put 80215 on it.
